What is a denture magnet?

A denture magnet utilizes magnetic energy to increase the retention of dentures when only some of the tooth's roots exist. A magnet and its mount are implanted in a denture and the gingiva. This is especially effective for a lower full denture, which does not have anything to hold down otherwise.
